Richard Raymond “Ric” Russo, 76, died Aug. 25, 2026, according to Collierville Funeral Home. He and his wife, Kathy, had lived in Germantown for 40 years.
Russo was originally from Cincinnati and earned a business-administration degree from the University of Cincinnati. His funeral-home notice records his service as an Air Force pilot, including three tours in Vietnam, and his later career as an airline captain. He retired from Delta.
Survivors include Kathy, his wife of 55 years; his son, Ryan; and his sister, Nancy. His parents and two sisters preceded him in death.
The family’s notice calls for private services and burial at West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery.
